The Benefits of Treating Your Skin Right

There are a number of reasons for taking care of your skin.

  • The skin is the largest organ in your body and it is a huge part of your appearance. Healthy skin will help you look good and feel good.
  • Taking care of your skin now can keep problems away later. Prevention is always easier than trying to fix issues in the future.
  • Our skin sheds itself daily. Today’s healthy skin will be gone tomorrow, so you need to take care of your skin on a regular basis

Waxing

Waxing is a method of temporary hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will gradually grow back, in about a week or so, and they will come in much finer. Up to 70% may not come back at all. I recommend being waxed every 4 to 6 weeks.

How long does hair have to be before I get waxed?
Hair should be at least 1/4” long (two weeks worth of growth).
Does it hurt?
The first time hurts the most, but the discomfort quickly subsides. By the time we finish, the discomfort is gone.
How often should I get waxed?
Generally every five weeks. After your first waxing, up to 70% of the hair will not return. When hair grows back, even very coarse hair comes in much finer.
Are there any restrictions after waxing?
For the first 24 hours after waxing, avoid tanning and hot tubs.
How do I avoid ingrown hairs and bumps?
The best way is to exfoliate the waxed area and apply moisturizer. There are also products you can buy specifically for this problem.

Cancellations

Your appointment is very important to me; it is reserved especially for you. I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, I respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations and reschedules.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. Furthermore, clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

As a courtesy, I send a text reminder the day before your appointment, but it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees.

Cancellations with less than 24-hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service amount.

Refunds

We cannot offer refunds for services.

Our gift cards do not expire and therefore are non-refundable.

Refunds are only offered for products that are defective and must be requested within 30 days of purchase.
